Järvi Kokla is the laureate of August Sang Poetry Translation Award. The award was given for the first time and took place in International Translation Day, 30th September 2018, in Tartu. Kokla has translated Heli Laaksonen´s poetry from Southwest Finnish into Hiiu dialect in collection "Ole ise" (EKSA, 2017).The award was given for Kokla´s translation "Pallaad" ("Ballade") of Heli Laaksonen´s poem "Balladi".  Congratulations to Järvi Kokla!
